- Do I require a visa to enter Honduras?

- Is Honduras politically stable?
- For 30 years, Honduras has had a stable democratic government that is committed to private enterprise. The President is elected for a single term as the head of state and the head of government. - What is the status of the Honduran real estate market?
- The economy’s expansion is in large part due to growth in select sectors such as tourism and exports. While Roatan, has shown impressive continued growth and demand in the real estate market, Trujillo is still largely untouched, thereby making the prices much more affordable. - Does Honduras have a reliable banking system?
- The Honduran currency is the Lempira (approximately 19 LPS = 1 USD* subject to change check with local for exact rates). There are about 20 private banks in Honduras, including two foreign ones: Citibank, whose local subsidiary is the Banco de Honduras, and Lloyds Bank and International banks such as HSBC.

- What is the climate like, and when is the best time to visit?
- Honduras is hot and humid almost year-round. Temperatures vary by altitude rather than season. The average high temperature nationwide is 32°C (90°F) and the average low is 20°C (68°F). Temperatures are coolest in mountain areas, but Trujillo has a year-round daytime high averaging 28° C throughout the year. Honduras’ high season for tourism runs from late November to late April, which coincides almost perfectly with the chill of winter in the U.S., Canada and Europe. back to top

- How far are the closest airports from Trujillo?
- Honduras is the only country in the region with four international airports, Tegucigalpa (145.5 miles), La Ceiba (46 miles), San Pedro Sula (140 miles) and Roatan (46 miles). - Is the property titled?
- Yes, according to Honduran law, once you have paid in full, and provided us with your completed Document Package, your Purchase Agreement is your Preliminary Title. Your legal representative will complete your title documents and register it with the central titles office. Your title documents will be held in trust for your with the lawyer. - Yes. The land is toured daily by security guards. The site is currently in pre-development which means the infrastructure is currently being installed.
